Charity Events

One of the things the pub is famous for, and indeed prides itself on is the amount of fundraising it does for local charities and community projects. Max and Leon believe that a local pub has a responsibility to the local community and are always ready to support charity and fundraising events in and around Purewell and Christchurch. Here are a few examples of this on-going commitment;

2005 Children in Need. £605 raised through the sponsorship of Matt’s haircut.

2006 Children in Need. £       Raised via a charity auction and raffle. All auctioned items and raffle prizes were donated by local businesses. We would like to thank; Davis Tackle, The Stuff Shop,

2006 Summer Beer, Wine & Music Festival. £250 collected for the Lighthouse Youth and Community Centre in Christchurch.
