Regular Bands and Musicians

The following acts can be seen on a regular basis at the Salisbury Arms.

Nige Bray                    acoustic rock        singer songwriter.

Nige doesn’t play in this country very often as he’s been based in The States, Germany and Belgium for the past ten years, but when he does return to the UK, one place you’ll find him is at the Salisbury Arms. We could devote a whole page to Nige, so the best way to learn more about him is to visit his website;

Lady Winwoods Maggot

Thrash Folk Hillbilly Country Rock!

To be honest, this band is beyond description - firm favourites both locally and at the national festivals, they have to be seen to be believed! Check out their website for further enlightenment; www.moosemanor.co.uk

Nemesis - www.nemesis-online.co.uk

Ok, so where do we start? They’ve been                      around for twenty years, they don’t gig very               often, they play the kind of music that                          you’re more likely to hear in a field of ten                     thousand stoned festival goers than in a                      pub, and they’ve been working on their                ‘      ‘latest’ album for the past six years!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you nemesis                 probably the only surviving original                                                                                                                     prog/folkrock/fussion band in the land!

Chris Tempest- www.christempest.co.uk

There’s plenty to read about Chris on his website -                check out his song list, there are some pretty                         interesting and unusual covers in his current set-list!

State of Undress - www.stateofundress.com

Here’s a nice shot of Charlie, Alan and the                band at their album launch at Harrods!

For more details on this hardworking and                   imaginative band, take a look at their                          website....it’s very professional!

Eloise & Friends -

Eloise has plenty of friends and she seems to                     bring most of them along when she plays! What’s              lucky for us is that some of Eloise’s friends are                  very talented performers. Her guitar partner Ben is            an outstanding player and well worth watching if               you are an aspiring guitarist.

It’s also thanks to Eloise that we’ve been                             introduced to Lauren and Chris - two fantastic                     young performers - don’t miss them!

BuiltWithNOF

Pictures from Eloise’s ‘going away’ party on Feb 4th. A fantastic night with a great turnout -  and lots of emotional hugs at the end!

Once again Logan’s proved to be a perfect venue for this type of party with great acoustics and a fantastic atmosphere.

Eloise is going to give us updates of her travels, so we’ll post them as and when she sends them to us. In the meantime, good luck and we’ll see you in the summer!

Skint - www.skintrock.com

Here’s one of the finest and hardest working covers bands you are ever likely to see. Skint are well known along the South Coast for their ‘electric’ live performances and their superb cutting edge sound and lighting.

A great live act - don’t miss them!

2 Guys and a Girl www.2guysandagirl.net

A welcome addition to our ‘regulars’ page - the aptly titled ‘2 Guys and a Girl’ feature Sam, Jason and Andy.

Possibly the countries leading Air Traffic Controller’s band(!), 2 Guys and a Girl play a wide range of material in their own distinctive style all of which is led by Jason’s remarkable voice. Also worth mentioning are Sam’s tambourine solos - definitely not something to miss!
